well unfortunately in our biz the turnover is very high,we're gonna miss the lil bastard but I think things have taken a turn for the better for all the parties involved. While replacing weeze there is definitely a different element and feel to the group. Recently we have added experienced bassist Robert Papura of Amsterdam who has done some time with the refrigerators, The show must go on a concept many musicians just can't seem to grasp..
If your a weezeman fan we will leave all the party pics and promo pics up for the month of november for you to download or collect, after that we gotta let him go so he is not confused as a current member when he plays with another band etc....

I have no choice but to have fun with this. Raising hell In the Hillz was the opening song of our set. In the song the lyrics say"we're gonna kick the keg-wake the dead" however I assure you when i wrote it I never meant for it to be in the literall sense. However while pics were being snapped away like every show Myself&Weeze couldn't help but to notice this one,as we were looking them over a few days later.
It's obvious that weeze &myself were the intended target of the photographer you can see Weeze clearly on guitar and almost an erie type of silhouette starting from my hat on down..When I saw this needless to say whether it was the lighting or whatever you can imagine the chills. In all of this the one lesson to be learned in all of this is,when The Roadfatha Roars at a live show the worlds and all of it's dimensions stop and take notice!

On October 23rd the band had the honor of playing at the third annual Oktoberfest at Delorey's on Broadway in Schenectady.NY
First off the Delorey's staff alone know how to throw a party. Their proffesionalism, demeanor, and all around enthusiasm set the pace for a can't lose situation for all who attended.
There was definitely alot going on,we ran into some early sound problems as different musicians and according to video just ordinary non musicians decided to "help adjust the PA system after we started...The result feedback&distortion...lol! However we were able to recover pretty quickly and far be it for us to let two of our songs get pummeled by feedback and started the set over...
It was definitely a packed house which carried to outside of the building which weeze&myself made sure we ran out to make sure that folks outside could also connect themselves with the act. In a nutshell once again the Delorey's staff and the owners Hope&Brendan Cavanaugh supplied Rock star treatment to the bands performing,it is with that treatment we recieved that in the future if Delorey's calls,we haul.....we as a band have agreed to this among ourselves...Make sure you check out the Oktoberfest photos here on rodfatha.com

Power drummer and former South florida rehersal studio owner Doug Pollicino has lent his hard hitting style to the Rodfatha live show.. Like the arrival of Johnson the in your face brand of drumming of Pollicino has added even more energy to the live show. With constant improvisation and artistic freedom heavily encouraged the band as a unit seems to fit together perfectly in complimenting each others style...This making the act an even more intense setting for fun out going party type of audiences.

In Rodfatha fashion. The release Rodfatha's Greatest Hits was launched at 12:00 am midnight Jan 1st 2010.
Available immediately for Download,Once again the proven marketing skills of Above The World Entertainment and their pet project had exceeded all logical thinking for the average artist trying to break.
Google it for yourself and you will see that Rodfatha is a cut above the average Indie when it comes to gaining exposure even in the most unorthodox of ways.

Being an independent artist has it's drawbacks. Gaining an audience and bringing attention to your craft is a difficult and endless task. The Rodfatha camp has found ways to get the ball rolling.
This week Rodfatha launched a video for talk show giant Ellen Degeneres hoping for the shot on national TV. With the confidence that he can do the rest once his name entertains a large enough audiece.
Prepared at a moments notice to perform anytime, anywhere Rodfatha shows the true spirit of the independent artist. This particular time if chosen there will be no time for excuses,no time for rehearsal,Just pure unadulturated Rodfatha antics that so far many have been deprived of.
We'll keep you posted and if it's in your power share this vid with every Ellen fan you know.
